Lex’s international career eventually lead to his representation for the Philippines Men’s National Team, having registered 11 caps for the country.
Upon completing his oversea playing career, Lex returns to NYC and Chelsea Piers. Having played at Chelsea Piers since it opened, Lex is extremely happy to reconnect with a special place that has expanded it’s soccer program into a unique competitive club.
“I remember playing at the first winter league at Chelsea Piers when the facilities first opened. It was an exciting time as there was nothing else like it. Decades ago fiber glass walls and artificial field turf arenas were only seen on TV. We felt like 10 year old pro’s. Being able to coach at Chelsea Piers bring back a lot of great memories, and I hope we can continue to provide the proper development for generations to come.”
