Born and raised in the NYC area, Brian has been involved in soccer for 25 years. In his earlier years, he worked his way through the Olympic Development Program system and earned a spot in the U-18 US National Team pool training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Soccer then brought him to Cornell University where he earned Academic All-American Distinction, Ivy-League Team of the Year in 2007. He graduated with honors in 2008 before playing professionally with Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona F.C (Israel).
Brian is still an avid player, coach, and fan. After returning from Israel, he joined Goldman Sachs but continued to pursue professional soccer with his brief stint with the New York Cosmos in 2012-2013. Brian is a big supporter of cancer-related charities, founding and participating in many events to raise funds for charity including an Ironman triathlon in 2010
Brian is a big believer in hard work achieving results. Through soccer, Brian has learned many life lessons including the value of discipline, hard-work, sacrifice, and overcoming adversity. He passes these lessons on enthusiastically to those he currently coaches.
