Coach Brandon’s passion for the game of soccer goes back to the age of 3. Growing up in Bay Shore, Long Island he is excited to have the opportunity to continue following his passion coaching at Chelsea Piers. Attending Bay Shore High School, Brandon was a two-time All-Conference selection and earned All-County honors as team captain his senior year. He played travel soccer for Massapequa Aces, winning the 2009 ENY State Cup championship.
Coach Brandon continued his career playing at Lafayette College in PA., where he earned a First-Team All-Patriot League Selection alongside a Third-Team All-Mid-Atlantic Selection. Brandon won a Patriot League Championship with Lafayette and had the opportunity to play in the NCAA Championship Tournament. Here he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Economics.
After Lafayette, Coach Brandon joined an International Academic Soccer Academy (IASA) giving him the opportunity to study in Leeds, England receiving his MBA degree, alongside continuing to play soccer for the IASA/Bradford City Reserves. While in Leeds Brandon received his FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate, coaching throughout all ages from 4-25 year olds.
Not only is soccer one of Coach Brandon’s passions but giving back to the community is as well. While attending Lafayette Brandon, alongside his teammates, self-started a non-profit organization called Athlete’s C.A.R.E. (Creating Abundant Relief Effort). Athletes C.A.R.E. is a growing organization of like-minded athletes, who provide unique, athletics-related service opportunities that support residents of communities in need. The mission of Athletes C.A.R.E. is to use athletics to make a lasting impact on the lives of others. Providing assistance and support to the needy, hungry, and homeless.
Coach Brandon is excited and eager to continue giving back to the community through athletics now being a coach at Chelsea Piers with a like-minded staff.
